Why Coins Get Delisted

There are various factors that lead to the delisting of cryptocurrencies from major exchanges. Some primary factors include:

  • Failure of the underlying cryptocurrency project to meet the exchange listing standards - It should be noted here that each exchange has its own listing standards.

  • Potential legal and regulatory risk associated with the cryptocurrency.

  • Potential security risk associated with the cryptocurrency and or its related smart contracts.

  • At the request of the project team responsible for the cryptocurrency and its development.

Delisted Coins: A Comprehensive List

Whereas we make the best effort to provide a comprehensive list of delisted cryptocurrency from major exchanges, please note:

This is NOT a complete list of all the cryptocurrencies that have been delisted from the exchanges mentioned.

Some exchanges may remove a particular trading pair (Base/Quote) currency without delisting the underlying cryptocurrencies.

A cryptocurrency delisted from one major exchange does NOT mean that it was delisted from all major exchanges.

Our delisted list is NOT intended to be used for financial or any other kind of advice.
